People across cultures and traditions use ceremonies mark the important milestones in our lifetime, from baby blessings to weddings and funerals. Traditionally, many families would look to the authority of their faith for answers on how to complete these ceremonies, how to make sure they are meaningful for the guests and celebrate the honoree. But in our increasingly secular society, the traditional church services is no longer the only option.
A Lifecycle Celebrant is a secular ceremony expert, who conducts rituals which may draw from all faiths or no faith. These services are customized to fit the wishes of the client and circumstances of the event. The Celebrant works together with the honoree or their family to identify stories, themes, symbols, and rituals that come together into an appropriate and transformative ceremony.
